Even if path truncation is activated, it is not applied, and thus environments created via conda create -p [path] are shown with full path.
conda create -p [path]
Truncation should be OS aware (similar to what directory module does when use_os_path_sep = true).
Truncation function used in module shall accept separator character. Alternatively, allow applying string replacements to variables in configuration.
