I got the .deb package from the site, used the "dpkg -i" command to install StarUML, then opened it up and installed this package by navigating to "Tools > Extension Manager...". After downloading the plug-in, I clicked "Tools > C++ > Reverse Code...", but it won't let me choose any files! I have plenty of .h and .cpp files that I've been using for numerous projects, but I haven't found a single file that works. All of them are greyed out and can't be selected.

This is with version 0.9.1.

I am facing the same problem. Is there any solution to it, or am I using wrong extension or something?

As a completely new user myself, I think that you we are intended to select a directory containing source files rather than an individual file itself.
