I known about that one, but they have the same problems.

Care to elaborate? (The particular fork I linked seems to have solved the subclassing issue; at least I could use it almost as a drop-in replacement of the experimental 1.5 branch; the difference being it worked on iOS 8 and on 64-bit devices and simulators out of the box.)
