Add a search box to the app, possibly using the RSS feed available from Pleiades, e.g. http://pleiades.stoa.org/search_rss?SearchableText=volcae*&portal_type=Place&submit=Search

This can be done with jQuery, see http://stackoverflow.com/questions/10943544/how-to-parse-a-rss-feed-using-javascript#10943610 but CORS is against us.
