Hello there!

As per GDPR, i must be able to change my email address whenever i feel like it. It is only a matter of time when i’ll have to do so. For now everything’s fine, hence heads-up. Though at the latest when v1.0 of this app is out, the account email address should no longer be a mere label but a changable text line input. This is especially important, for payments are tied to these accounts.

The relevant GDPR bit is in the section regarding new user rights, the right to correction of PII. (On that note it must also be possible to have one’s account deleted, though i’m happy with my lifetime license.☺)

Hello, my friend!

Thanks for this note! We don't allow changing email from the app itself because of security reasons (user can forget to log out from the device, etc.), so it can be done only after contacting us directly. But we can improve this process by adding a button for requesting to change email right from the account page inside the app.

That would be completely satisfactory for compliance, as far as i’m aware, great. =)
