  • [ x] I have checked the FAQ for answers.
  • [ x] I have checked the Changelog that the issue is not already fixed.
  • [ x] I believe this issue is a bug, and not a general technical issue, question or feature requests that can be discussed on the forum.

Describe the bug
While transcoding mp3 songs from 320k to 192k, I observed, that the files were overwritten, leading to a file wit 0Byte size.

To Reproduce

  • Choose a mp3 file from the playlist
  • Select "Add file(s) to transcoder" from the context menu
  • Choose MP3 and options "Optimize for bitrate", set to 192 kbps and select "OK"
  • Select Destination "Alongside the originals"
  • Select "Start transcoding"

Check the file.

Expected behavior
Instead to overwrite it, either a dialog should appear as warning to overwrite and with the possibility to change it's name, or the name schould be changed automatically, using a serial number to extend the filename.

However, the term "Alongside the originals" does surely not mean "Overwrite the originals".
