Hello,

I haven't used SubDB (pyrrot) yet since there aren't any subtitles in my language yet. Though I'm hoping there will be in the future and therefore I have some questions/requests.

  1. Are subdirectories of watched directories also watched ? This would help if one stores TV shows in season folders.
  2. When a language has priority over another, but subs couldn't be found, will there be regular checks if the primary language is available ? (probably a feature request)
  3. Hoping this won't be necessary, but will there be a place to report 'fake' subs or even their uploaders ?

Thank you and I wish you the best of luck with this project ! I think it will make a great addition to a whole list of other programs out there :)

Hi and thanks for your interest in SubDB

  1. Yes, sub-directories are automatically watched recursively
  2. Not yet, but we plan to add that feature really soon
  3. We are working on that, but still need to resolve a few things first

You are welcome to upload subtitles in your own language to help grow the database and hopefully make it useful for more people :)

Thank you for the awnsers, sounds great :)

I found the website when I was browsing Sick Beard, a program that automatically looks for new episodes of TV shows and makes them available for download. (Specifically this issue: http://code.google.com/p/sickbeard/issues/detail?id=286)

Just a thought; you could contact the creator of Sick Beard and work on this together. That might give your site a boost in users and hopefully, subs :)

Hi,

I like the concept of your software. It could become a great tool, particulary if it could interface with SickBeard. The database is still small and I hope there 'll be a lot of users like me who ul their subtitles.
Nevertheless, I've got a problem : I can't upload my french subtitles. There's a IO error. What shall I do ?
Anyway, did you plan to interface your tool with an other db like opensubtitle or tvsubtitles ?

Best regards

Hi, I'm sorry taking so long to answer, but it appears that GitHub have forgot to email me to tell about you reply.

About the IO error, can you create an issue and send the debug to me?
About interface our tool with other db's, we have no plans, at least for now.

Thanks for the reply.
