After installing the package and restarting the server I get this error:
Uncaught Error: Assertion Failed: A helper named 'perfect-scroll' could not be found

These my actual versions of Ember, Ember Data and jQuery

@thesubr00t I am sorry man at the moment I've been busy on my main job so once intensive period passes I will be able to look on this issue.

Same issue here. Currently this plugin is not usable :-(

Guys sorry for late update. I've been busy with moving into a new place.
I just updated and made fixes for these issues.

Ember-cli meta

DEBUG: -------------------------------
DEBUG: Ember      : 2.7.1
DEBUG: Ember Data : 2.7.0
DEBUG: jQuery     : 2.2.4
DEBUG: -------------------------------

Proof

➜  test-ps git:(master) ember install ember-perfectscroll
Installed packages for tooling via npm.
Installed addon package.
➜  test-ps git:(master) ✗ ember g ember-perfect-scroll
installing ember-perfect-scroll
  install bower package perfect-scrollbar
  cached https://github.com/noraesae/perfect-scrollbar-bower.git#0.6.12
Installed browser packages via Bower.
