the privacy settings - in particular alarm permissions revert to default on boot for apps moved to SD. can this be fixed from ramdisk boot order, please?

I presume what you mean is that the SD card is mounted too late in the boot process, so it tries to load certain settings from SD card before it is mounted, fails, and then reverts to defaults?
