steps to reproduce

1. Populate any text in summernotes. Example of https://summernote.org/ has the same issue.
2. Move/select the cursor back any amount of characters.
3. Shift Enter to add a break. Press backspace to remove the break.
4. Try to shift Enter again, your cursor begins to move down a line without taking text with it, CTRL-Z or undo produces an IndexSizeError.

What is your browser and OS?
Internet explorer 11 - Windows 10. Also verified on Windows 7.

What is your summernote version?
summernote-0.8.11-dist. Latest version on the official website at this time.
