I have a plugin that allows me to insert blocks of code into summernote. Works great. One of them inserts an A tag styled as a bootstrap 4 button. Once the button is inserted summernote autolinks the button and you can't modify the text or link. I can't seem to disable the auto link feature. Help?

Is it just Links, or is there also issues with adding other elements? I also created a plugin for adding blocks of elements, but never noticed links being an issue, may have to look into this further.

I inserted a bootstrap card and it doesn't like to select the outer DIV tag. But that is less troublesome than the button/link issue I am having. I saw your template plugin. I will try to switch to that one. Could be a problem with the one I am using now...
Here's the working test. Click the little three-cube icon to insert the templates

I had a look at the markup that's generated when inserting elements, it looks like Summernote is adding extra stuff, like a wrapping </span> for instance, which you would know shouldn't contain </div>'s. Have you tried using different insertion methods?

I'm hoping, given the time there has been no further activity that you managed to resolve this. If you still require help, please reopen, or create a new issue, thank you.
