Describe the problem
Start superslicer (either appimage or binary version)
Open an stl file
activate variable layer height
=> program dumps core (coredump) immediately
anything I've tried crashes

I am also getting this on Linux Mint, seems to be anything that adjusts the layer height from the default print profile, as an example:
Variable layer height Overwriting layer height in perimeter settings Use height range adjustments to alter the layer height
Any of the above cause a coredump. I can't seem to get a more comprehensive stack trace.
