Currently search results are not always reliable.

  • your mind well should get 164 responses but I only get two.
  • lends an ear returns no hits, but there is one instance

(these are no longer current as the text has changed.)

We should do careful and comprehensive testing to ensure that results for search are always reliable.

I am rarely using search, but maybe related are the TM proposals. Very often, the outdated versions are shown as first result. I mean translation text that does definitely exist in not a single place in the canon, even many months after they have been changed. The newer versions are only shown after that, if at all.

Outdated versions should not be shown at all, we should always see the latest version.

It seems that in new projects there is currently no TM at all: https://discourse.suttacentral.net/t/how-the-translation-memory-in-bilara-works/29398
