This is the reverse engineering of the REX Datentechnik 9628 Extern Kernal 8 for the Commodore C64. The components date back to 1988. So does the design.
The reverse engineering was conducted in order to learn about the functions of a kernal cartridge for the C64.
The original Extern Kernal 8 is working. The design included in this repository is declared to be untested, the files are offered for educational purposes only.
The BOM value is 11.41€ (two 27c256 for 2€ each included). The shipping costs for the components are not included in the calculation
