SVG elements allow you to embed raster images inside of SVG. WebKit ignores these on non-inline SVG—IE and Firefox work fine.

When Illustrator exports SVG it uses these elements for shadows. It would be nice to have a non-default option to strip these elements out, since they won't be shown on WebKit anyway.
