  • Sway Version:

    • sway version 1.7

  • Description:

    • Open container on new workspace.
    • swaymsg focus parent
    • swaymsg fullscreen
    • Nothing happens.
    • After swaymsg layout toggle split or after make second container then fullscreen on the first container works.

Also works in i3.

1.7 is not the latest version, can you reproduce your issue on 1.8

@bl4ckb0ne Sway 1.8.1 same behavior.
