How to bundle TS into UMD using spack

Hi all, I'm trying to build a library written in TypeScript.

I use spack to bundle the code into one, and want them to be in UMD module instead of the default ES module.

If I add a .swcrc with:

Running spack would give me errors like:

          ^

[Error: load_transformed failed

Caused by:
    0: Bundler.load() failed
    1: Bundler.loader.load(/path/to/my/index.ts) failed
    2: error: Expected a semicolon
    // It does not recognize the syntax of TS

And I've found no options in spack config to handle this.
