If I have this extension installed, Firefox does not ask if passwords should be stored. I am using Firefox 37.0.1 and moz-gnome-keyring-integration 0.8.

You need to give some more information about your specific case. I guess it works for everyone else.

The problem is that DBUS on Arch Linux does somehow not support DBUS_SESSION_BUS_ADDRESS any more, causing the libgnome-keyring bindings to fail. Using libsecret should fix this issue.
