List of external fields for Places to retrieve from Wikidata and Getty

Wikidata fields:

  • label@en (rdfs:label)
  • description@en (schema:description)
  • inception (P571)
  • country (P17)
  • located in the administrative territorial entity (P131)

Getty fields:

  • preflabel (skos:prefLabel)
  • scopenote value (skos:scopeNote ?scopenote . ?scopenote a gvp:ScopeNote ; rdf:value ?value)
  • altlabel (skos:altLabel)
  • parent string (gvp:parentString)

In view of our multi-linguality claim, I would propose to go also for wikiData

  • description@de
  • description@fr
  • description@it

However, this night also just unveil the weird data in Wikidata, but it could be worth while trying.

What do you think?

yes, also label@de,it,fr
However would love to find a way to visualise them in a single block (as the external identifier in the main entity for example). Let's discuss it with @ymark
