Useful for simplifying latex formula expressions, but doesn't work with fonts like mathbf #26462

Is there a good solution to this problem, or other latex formula simplification package

I think that you can use arbitrary LaTeX as names for symbols, like Symbol(r'\mathbf{x}') if you want some symbols to have different font. However, I'm not sure about if it is the question you were asking.

(\mathrm{a+b})^2=\mathrm{a^2+2ab+b^2}
(\mathrm{a}+\mathrm{b})^{2}=\mathrm{a}^{2}+2\mathrm{a}\mathrm{b}+\mathrm{b}^{2}
