the application you linked is simply a javascript application that LOOKS like an ipod, served from a desktop. its nothing to do with an actual ipod. this respository you've created the issue on is for software designed to run linux on a raspberry pi stuffed inside of an ipod's case. these two projects are completely unrelated. if it helps though, this project is able to serve local media files local to the device (raspberry pi and even includes a dac in the project to help with audio!)
