Looks like the latest version is 0.33 but I see your last tag was 0.30 any reason? Which version is recommended

Version 0.31.0 was skipped and the current stable release is 0.32.0 (I just pushed the corresponding tag). This version can be use (with a workaround) with PIT 0.33 - see #7.
Nevertheless you usually shouldn't worry about tags. The released artifacts are available though the Maven Central Repository and snapshots versions (like 0.33.0-SNAPSHOT) through OSS Sonatype Repository.
