Parameter Needs Configuration Error

Hi, we've used the data driven parameter extension in our Tableau dashboards. The issue manifest when our client user tries to access the Tableau dashboard in other language in this case Korean and the tableau drop down selection doesn't seem to work. We've already reached out to Tableau support and they've concluded the following.
"After further investigation, it appears that the issue is due to the Data-Driven Parameter extension's field association being translated when viewed in a different language, in this case Korean. When the workbook is viewed in another language than what it was originally configured with, the Data-Driven Parameter extension isn't sure which field it was set to and prompts to be configured again. If you were to say configure the field in Korean, it would just break again when viewed in English."
Can this issue be addressed and fixed so that the data driven parameter extension supports multiple language without needing to be configured each time?

Thanks for your response @KeshiaRose. We're eagerly waiting for a fix to this issue so that our clients can start using the tool with a functioning drop down.

Can you tell me more about the language change? Is this from the language switch in the users' server account settings or somewhere else? Could you provide an example?

sure, our client users are based in Korea and they've setup their default language as Korean in their Google Chrome Browser. We've built the tableau workbook in English and the data driven parameter are configured to work with english language. The way I understand this issue is if a user just uses English language there is no issue with the drop down using the extension, when the default language is other than english, the data driven parameter says 'Parameter Needs Configuration' and it doesn't load any data in the drop down.

Hmmm, weird. It shouldn't matter the language since the column and worksheet names don't actually change, right? Can you look in the console (F12) and see if you are getting any errors?

The column and worksheet names doesn't change. I checked the developer console and I don't see any errors.

Hmmm, that is really strange, especially not seeing anything in the console. What if they set up the extension in Korean? does it fail for folks with English set as their language?
