Information kept on local server?

Hi,
first of all a big thank you for developing this fantastic extension.

I am very interested in using the extension on our Tableau server.
Just a couple of questions on how the data is handled. I read: "This extension does not require full data access, but allowing the extension to run means that the extension can access the aggregated data (or summary data) from your dashboard." (when running on desktop)
After checking the link to "Learn more", it was not quite clear to me what exactly happens to the data.

What kind of data is transferred? Only the data needed for the data-driven parameters to be determined or more than that? Or is all data kept on our servers as this extension is installed right there?
