This time, the issue is more complex.

binding_recall functions access BLOCK struct of binding to restore the right self value. ruby 1.9 has the same struct on binding?

If you are evaluating the bugs of evalmimic because this gem is dependency of evalhook and shikashi, you should know that the next release of shikashi and evalhook removes the dependency with evalmimic (see https://github.com/tario/shikashi/commits/v0.4.0-dev, https://github.com/tario/evalhook/tree/v0.4.0-dev)

Sorry, shikashi and evalhook are not compatible with ruby1.9, because ruby2ruby gem is not
