Using Qubes 4.2.0-rc1 it's broken.

Maybe related to Qubes port to nftables?

@adrelanos yup, it’s the nftables port. Since the iptables tool is itself deprecated I didn’t implement backwards compatibility there.

Is this being held up by the nftables issue? Seems to me that there will never be an in place upgrade to 4.2 with the current setup - except for the most trivial laptop installation. Is there some discussion in the background? In other words how long before resolution. Thanks.

Sorry, I had posted but then read through the Pull request and I see it is beyond just firewall rules changes. I'm happy to assist testing a proposed solution (but not qualified to write one) if it would be helpful. I'd love to see this completed before 4.2 release if possible for me and others.

Is there any update for this script? Users have relied on it for many years, and I want to switch to version 4.2 and need this.
