Haven’t done too much testing on this, but it seems that when I set my bridge window’s content view to a [CPColor colorWithPatternImage:[CPImage imageWithContentsOfFile:size:]], some performance issues start occuring in Firefox 3. Mainly I notice them when resizing the browser window, and sometimes when dragging a HUD or standard window around the screen, especially when they get near to the edge of the screen (and start getting clipped). Performance starts hanging, sometimes things will not be redrawn for several seconds (resizing the browser window to a new larger size results in the added area remaining white for a few seconds until things get redrawn). Setting the content view’s background to a solid color or non-pattern image seems to fix the issues.

Do you know if it is still relevant to 0.7b?
