This is currently done in the wq-dash repo in R/dat_proc.R here https://github.com/tbep-tech/wq-dash/blob/368194989b4f939aa43c29739e6c04d2d826db59/R/dat_proc.R#L21

The function should follow similar format as read_importwq()
