ctrl+v and ctrl+u both lag; not sure what caused this regression... maybe undo? Maybe it's not actually slow and we're just not repainting after ctrl+v?

tconbeer/harlequin#231 could tell us...

It's actually just pyperclip that's slow. On WSL it spins up a whole new powershell for paste, which is slow. Updating on_paste to use the text from the system message is nearly instant.
