I'm interested in building something that interacts with Hangouts API, and I was interested in Rust. I wouldn't have put a ton of faith into this, but I see that you're the original author of hangups, so you might have serious motivation behind this project.

Out of curiosity, what are your plans? Any sort of nebulous goals for reaching parity? I assume a lot of time is spent maintaining and working on the main hangups repos?

Also, thank you for hangups.

I don't currently have any plans to continue working on this repo.
