UKUU halts on Wayland Session #13

When using the Wayland session instead of X.org, UKUU stops working with the following message:

No protocol specified
Unable to init server: Could not connect: Connection refused

(ukuu:32094): Gtk-WARNING **: cannot open display: :0

Ubuntu Gnome 17.04

you can open a terminal and issue the following command to get rid of the error message.

xhost +
