Bug report

Reproduction of the problem

  1. Open this Dojo example -https://dojo.telerik.com/eYaMIvAz.
  2. Select "Oranges". The change event is triggered.
  3. Press the button to change the value to "Bananas". The event is triggered.
  4. Press the "Sort" button.
  5. Select "Oranges again". The change event is not triggered.

Current behavior

The event is not triggered after the last step.

Expected/desired behavior

The change event should be triggered when selecting "Oranges" the second time.

Environment

  • Kendo UI version: 2020.2.617
  • Browser: [all]
