Here are some data-points from last night by checking the state every minute. Time | State So the car seems to go online after 1 hour being offline and stays online for mostly up to 2 minutes (with 1 exception which I can see). |

I have a M3 LR 2020 and my states look almost the same. My car is either offline or online, but rarely goes to sleep. |

I have two cars Model 3 and Y and haven't had any issues with Teslamate until a few days ago. Now - one of my cars (car id = 1, Model 3) is experiencing the same issue as above (constantly being woken up). No issues with my 2nd car at all, which is perplexing. I do not have any other 3rd party app such as Teslafi connected. Any ideas if anyone has managed to fix this?

This is still an issue but I think the Streaming API might actually be the solution rather than the problem. |

I would like to bring in a new feature request, as I participated in an already closed issue and I would like to see this feature implemented.
What's the Problem?
Certain cars, like for example the Tesla Model S/X <2018 with an upgraded MCU (MCU 1 -> MCU 2) keeps cycling to awake after a certain amount of minutes (57 min in my case).
This happens while no other app is connected and also cycles the HV battery (heard by the clicking noise).
What seems to happen, when checking the Tesla API itself (and disconnecting any other app), is that when running GET
api/1/vehicles the car will come in an online state every hour for just about 120 seconds. No HV cycle is happening and the car/API goes offline again.
If Teslamate is enabled, it will start streaming the car's API and it will take ~20 minutes before the car sleeps again.
What could be the Solution?
Provide an option or a change in code that will wait a bit longer before starting up the Streaming API, so the HV clicking is reduced and less vampire drain can be realised.
By providing an option to wait until start streaming we can measure what is the ultimate setting, because it will have effect on when Teslamate is start logging data from the car. And I can imagine that not every car will have exactly the same effect.
