The "Quit Event" button does not appear if you've already played once.

It is done on purpose for now.
Matches have a link to the players in the database.
If you delete a player, you won't be able to display the matches he played 
properly and calculate scores 
properly...

I will change this in the future.
When a player quits an event and the player has played already, this player's 
status will change to something like 
"retired". The user would then be able to join again as a new player.
