i just looked on my site as i was bored so thought id try to lower db queries i 
found that on my site ebattles was doing like 70 db queries for the activity 
menu

its not rly a problem to me but it might be an idea to try and lower it as some 
hosts dont like lots of db queries

edit when u load up a ladder u get another 150 queries
