Is it possible to add support for GitHub-specific syntax?

I'm especially interested in "Fenced code blocks"

We won't be adding this to the bundle, this would best be done as a separate grammar/bundle that including Markdown as it's base grammar.

I'd like to vote up a separate Github-flavored markdown bundle.
Not only for code blocks but also for tables.

TextMate 2 now has a Markdown (GitHub) bundle under "Bundles" that I think may address many of the folks' desires here (repository for the curious: https://github.com/MikeMcQuaid/GitHub-Markdown.tmbundle).
