Problem Description: Many players have reported that their UI is bugging out. This usually involves their viewscreen becoming stuck on the last set of tiles they viewed, or in some cases, defaulting to the login screen. While their UI is frozen, players are still able to move around and talk normally, they just can't see anything that's going on. In some cases, newly spawned players and mobs are sent to the login screen area, rather than their intended destination. Both problems have reported to have been fixed by restarting Byond or changing z-levels, but some players report that the issue isn't solved by these actions.
What did you expect to happen: Why do you think this is a bug?
Prior to the first report of this bug (about 3 days ago), players did not have any issues with their UI freezing.

Why is this bad/What are the consequences: Why do you think this is an important issue?
While the problem can be fixed in some cases by restarting Byond, some players report that nothing they do can resolved the issue until a new round starts. Even if they can resolve the issue, shutting down Byond and restarting it can take upwards of 1 - 2 minutes and may place players at risk of being dunked during that time interval.
Steps to reproduce the problem: The most important section. Review everything you did leading up to causing the issue.
I was hesitant to file a bug report until I tracked down the cause of the issue, but the volume of complaints coming in caused me to reconsider. So far, it seems that the bug is caused when players change z-levels, shift into or out of a mob or ghost, or spawn into the game. When I first encountered the issue, I was putting my ghost into a mob in the Thunderdome. Shifting out of ghost form and into the mob always caused my viewscreen to lock into the lobby area, while shifting back into a ghost corrected it. The issue was fixed by restarting my Byond.
Possibly related stuff (which gamemode was it? What were you doing at the time? Was anything else out of the ordinary happening?): Anything else you can tell us.
So far, it doesn't seem to be restricted to one gamemode, mobtype, etc. Players have reported the bug for just about every round for the last two days. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to figure out exactly what triggers it, but I would guess it was something from a recent PR, as it only popped up in the last few days.
