Governance Taskforce initial proposal draft and process for The Turing Way

Summary

• Malvika and Kirstie have agreed on an initial proposal, process and framework of the governance and we need to kick off the develop process as described in stages

What needs to be done?

• Stage 1: Malvika to draft a proposal for Kirstie
• Stage 2: Malvika and Kirstie to discuss and agree on the plan and next stage
• Stage 3: Malvika to share the draft and plan on GitHub
• Stage 4: Arielle to help with the honorarium process (this will be done internally with the help of Kirstie and Malvika)
• Stage 5: Malvika, Kirstie and Arielle to open a call for interest for up to 10 contributor positions in 'The Turing Way Governance Taskforce' to work on different parts of the governance with an honorarium (amount to be set with Arielle)
• Stage 6: Invite governance taskforce and kick off their work
• Stage 7: Guide and coordinate their work for 2 months based on the initial draft
• Stage 8: Publish the draft for RfC from the wider community
• Stage 9: Official announcement of the governance document and recruitment of members start
• Stage 10: Set a functioning governance and working groups by March-April 2022
