Keychron V1 Max connected but VIA App not loading #234

I connected a new Keychron V1 Max to my PC. Via is running in Edge and authroization pop up is viewed with the device and a Paired tag. However, after authorizing the device nothing happens. The logo of via keeps rolling left to right as if it was loading. But it never changes. Interestingly, in the test tab, the keyboard is correctly displayed and key inputs are taken correctly. In the settings tab the diagnostic information is not shown with a warning Requires connected device instead.

Problem persists after restart, is also true for the installed app and the same for the 2,4 GHz connection as for the cable connection. It also persists after factory reset. Do I really have to flash the newest firmware?

Not even flashing the firmware helped. Only loading the json as described on the Keychron website could help.
