Create database design documents. This will primarily consist of a relational model for the tables and views. Also, research how dbs work in android. I.e. mysql, sqlite, mariadb, etc.

If this isnt done it needs to be done ASAP. We need the schema prepared for this upcoming sprint so that we can implement the backend for the app. Without a backend database to query and update we can't make many more improvements to the app.
