I am working on styling the pdf for our Italian Paintings project, and I ran into some trouble while trying to apply multiple styles to a figure shortcode. In most instances, it worked fine when I placed the pdf style within the same apostrophes as the style that determines how the image appears online, like this:
But when I used "pdf-float-top" within the same set of apostrophes as "is-pulled-right," then the "pdf-float-top" style does not work. For example, for this one:
I tried placing them in separate sets of apostrophes, but then only the first item worked. I also tried using commas, and changing the order, but nothing seemed to help.
I also cannot figure out how to create pdf styles for the figuregroup images, but I will keep working on that. @Erin-Cecele I believe I posted about this on another thread. If you do plan to add more examples to the section of the Quire documentation on custom pdf styles, it would be really helpful to add something about figure groups. And it would be wonderful if there were a way to add simple page breaks or column breaks within text, but perhaps that is not possible.

I am working on styling the pdf for our Italian Paintings project, and I ran into some trouble while trying to apply multiple styles to a figure shortcode. In most instances, it worked fine when I placed the pdf style within the same apostrophes as the style that determines how the image appears online, like this:
{% figure 'fig-13-1' 'pdf-75-percent-width is-pulled-right' %}
But when I used "pdf-float-top" within the same set of apostrophes as "is-pulled-right," then the "pdf-float-top" style does not work. For example, for this one:
{% figure 'fig-31-4' 'pdf-float-top is-pulled-right' %}
I tried placing them in separate sets of apostrophes, but then only the first item worked. I also tried using commas, and changing the order, but nothing seemed to help.
I also cannot figure out how to create pdf styles for the figuregroup images, but I will keep working on that. @Erin-Cecele I believe I posted about this on another thread. Thank you!
