How would you describe your project?

I want to create Peer 2 Peer data syndication and node discovery on TheNewBoston ecosystem.

What problem does this project solve?

I want to integrate a variation of a distributed computing SDK I have that runs a container for TNB's Ecosystem. The custom container will let people run TNB the way it currently runs, but there is a catch. The more and more people that download the custom container, the more and more people are recognized as peers. They can then discover new peers and syndicate data to each other. Eventually a full phased integration can make a variation of TNB offline-centered or running on this new protocol.

Who is the target market?

Again this is quite experimental and may take some time to develop, but will be another usecase of my SDK when done. Currently, the target would be developers, but eventually I would want to make it more user friendly though a microservice or one-click install.

How will this project benefit the network and/or the community?

This can further decentralize TNB, and if it is done in a way that doesn't disenfranchise the current network or its algorithms, I don't see why not. This will be an application, not a soft or hard fork. It will not slow down the network or change anything in relation to speed or the infrastructure of the network.

How is this project centered around thenewboston?

Well, it is a feature. The project isn't centered around TNB, but can still be looked at as an improvement or "nice to have".

What is the estimated completion date for this project? (rough estimates are acceptable)

Right now this is in ideation phase. Depending on how excited the community is, I may start development quick enough to finish by the end of this year. More realistically though by mid 2022.

April 2021: Get project approval and introduce the project on Hackernoon
June 2021: Start repo, build a custom database and start development of the "Container"
September 2021: Launch test variation w/ P2P data discovery

Milestone Details

Please include a detailed breakdown of the first milestone including a list of all quantifiable objectives and
estimated coin value of each. Upon completion of the milestone, each objective will be reviewed by thenewboston team
and once all objectives have been verified as completed, coins will then be rewarded.

Milestone 1 is the announcement, Milestone 2 is the beta/test launch which aims to have all the core functionality but may be less user friendly, while Milestone 3 is the full on launch.

@manishram The only part of it that is idea only is the timelines, but no, this project is one I actually am planning on developing. Hope it receives approval, and do let me know if you have any questions

@manishram I do plan on having most of the delivery dates the same except obviously the April 2021 date, because it is awaiting audit. I renamed it from ideation to project proposal.

Hi @Mentors4EDU - after meeting with the government we are still not sure exactly what this project is or how it would be integrated with thenewboston. Would it be possible to provide some architecture diagrams to show how the SDK would integrate with thenewboston network?

Also, the milestones would need to be quantifiable proof of work that the auditors can verify. Milestones such as "announcements" are not considered adequate proof of work.

Lastly, our overall impression was that this project was too vague for us to accurately determine the value that it would bring. If you could include as much detail as possible that would be great.
