CI seems to pass but this release claims to drop support for Python 2...

Thanks for checking, @joshuagl! Looks like they removed py2 support only from the docs and the classifiers section in setup.py, none of which affects the ability to install or use on py2. I say we merge and keep an eye out for other dependencies dropping py2 support.

I was worried about that, too, and felt better reading the actual changelog and commit. Thanks for double-checking, Joshua!
