How to update Microsoft.iOS framework version after updating plugin to 10.1.6 from 10.1.4

Hello everybody, sorry for the maybe silly question but I'm new to MAUI development.
I have a MAUI project set to compile for Android and iOS.
After updating the plugin to version 10.1.6 from version 10.1.4 the project doesn't compile anymore because I get error saying that the assembly 'Plugin.LocalNotification' uses 'Microsoft.iOS, Version=16.4.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=84e04ff9cfb79065' which is newer than 'Microsoft.iOS, Version=16.2.0.0' which is referenced (by the project?).

How can I update the reference of the project to use Microsoft.iOS version 16.4?
I tried with nuget package manager but Microsoft.iOS is not listed in the currently installed packages, and if I try to search and install Microsoft.iOS.sdk version 16.4.0 then I get more errors.
Can anyone be so kind to give me a hint? Thank you
