Happens in version 0.6.1 and current master (3820cf0). NixOS 24.05, built from source (noticed while testing 0.6.0 -> 0-6-1 bump).

Only hardware detail from the template I could imagine potentially being relevant here is GPU:

  • OpenGL renderer string: AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT (navi10, LLVM 16.0.6, DRM 3.54, 6.6.10)
  • OpenGL version string: 4.6 (Compatibility Profile) Mesa 23.1.9

Intentional. It prevents accidental closing of the program due to the way ImGui handles menus.
