New Features & Bugfixes:

  • Removed an artifact affecting print quality in certain cases by removing the slowdown when a wall had an overhanging section. This artifact was especially visible on the 3D calibration cube "X" face.

  • Added the ability to view the Dremel 3D45 camera from a window within Cura.
  • Note: This version will not work with the changes that Ultimaker made to Cura version 5.0 and onward. I hope to have a 5.0 compatible version of this plugin soon.

  • Fixed a bug where the plugin would re-install the printer definition files every time Cura started.
  • Hid some additional incompatible materials on the 3D20 and 3D40 that are included with Cura by default.
  • Updated the acceleration and jerk settings for the printers. The new default settings are as follows:

  • Added Dremel 3D45, Dremel 3D40 printers in addition to the 3D20
  • Renamed the plugin from Dremel-3D20-Plugin to Dremel-Printer-Plugin
  • Added Dremel ECO ABS, Dremel PETG, Dremel Nylon, and split Dremel PLA into two materials (the older 0.5kg spools and the newer 0.75kg spools)
  • Hid many more unsupported materials that are included by default with Cura from 3D20 and 3D40 list of available materials
  • The 3D40 per-quality-per-material settings are untested. Please help by suggesting improvements to the settings.
