hi, thanks for your interest. unfortunately, there is barely anything in the syntax file so far. things that have been added in the last few years are also missing, and the contexts for the highlighter are also barely changed from the perl5 version i (assumedly?) copy-pasted everything from.

however, i'll link this issue to the kate part of the user-experience project's issue tracker; maybe we can find someone who considers themselves capable of writing a highlighter in kate's format? there'd have to be a little bit of an announcement that we'd be looking for that, maybe the perl6weekly would be a good spot
