Adding external contact to a group that should be used in an event invitation

We are trying to add an external contact to a "Group" and this is not a possibility anymore (v 2022.12.1). Having added the external contact to a shared "Addressbook" and defining the "Group" to allow external contacts (no tick mark in "Only system accounts can be added to Addressbook group") it is still not possible to add external contacts from a shared (or personal) "Addressbook" to the group.

This makes it impossible to make a Calendar event with external contacts automatically include by inviting the group. It is still possible to invite individually external contacts to an event, but if many should be included, this is not feasible.
