[Feature] Option to specify directory

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

Inside my action I checkout multiple repositories into sub-directories. However, this action runs on the root of the environment i.e. failing because the environment root is not a git repo.
The following is the error:

There should be an option to choose where to run the action.
