When the timer runs out, the page is fully redirected rather than having an overlay like similar extensions. This can be really frustrating if you were, for example, typing up a comment as the comment will likely be erased and unrecoverable (even Lazarus sometimes doesn't have enough time to save it).
Another consequence of this hard redirection is that, if I have multiple blocked tabs open, my (admittedly not that great) computer immediately freezes for a few seconds since everything gets unblocked and reloaded at the same time (including the dozens of extensions and userscripts I have installed).
The third issue is that all blocked tabs are closed and can't be recovered if I disable the extension (and yes, I've needed to do that a few times, no cheating).
I understand that a simple overlay might make cheating easier, but simply disabling the extension is already pretty straightforward. It would be great at least having the option to switch between these two behaviors.
Thanks for your attention!

Overall I agree with most of the points here, and I think using an overlay could also help with the incognito UX issues. My concern is complexity and reliability, which is where redirects shine.
The Web Store comment mentions "similar extensions" – would be great to see some examples.
First of all, thanks for this great extension!
